  • Rented to a single household (i.e. not a House in Multiple Occupation), and
  • Located in one of Birmingham City Council’s designated selective licensing areas (specific wards where the scheme is enforced).
  • The aim of the selective licensing scheme is to improve housing conditions, reduce anti-social behaviour, and ensure landlords meet a basic standard of property management.
